Welcome

Let me start of by saying thank you for your interest in my life long project.

As you will see it the following pictures, the hull is undergoing an extensive evaluation, restructuring and general restoration. The hull is the foundation of the vessel and from what I have seen in other "fully restored" boats the hull is quite often overlooked. After a through inspection I determined that the keelson had to be replaced. The keelson is the spinal column of the boat, it holds the ribs, floor timbers, keel & garboards all together. At the same time I am stripping all paint from the hull to refasten her and seal the wood with C.P.E.S.. please browse through the pictures and don't forget to email me with your comments. Be aware some of these pictures are rather large and will require a DSL or Cable connection, dial up connections might take a while. Click here to read in detail what I have been doing to the hull
